 Steelhead fishing evolved from my love of trout fishing.
As a kid growing up in northern Minnesota, I had a passion for trout fishing. At every opportunity I would pack my fishing
rod and bike down to the area trout stream. My mother still reminds me of the countless trout I proudly displayed in the family freezer.
Over years of fly fishing, I've had the privilege of catching many steelhead trout and salmon weighing over 20
pounds. Landing one of these mighty beauties is an awesome thrill, but more importantly, is the experience of being part of nature's beauty. It does something wonderful to the human spirit, and the feeling of overwhelming peacefulness is priceless.
