The purpose of life is much larger than you or me, our families, careers or our goals and accomplishments. Life is not about us at all. It's about God.

This message becomes very clear in the following encouraging bible verses:

Jeremiah 29:11 reads, "For I know the plans I have for you", says the Lord. "They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."

Isaiah 43:7 reads, "All who claim me as their God will come, for I have made them for my Glory. It was I who created them."

1 Corinthians 10:31 reads, "Whatever you eat or drink or whatever you do, you must do all for the glory of God."

Psalm 32:8 reads, "The Lord says, "I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you."

Proverbs 16:9 reads, "We can make our plans but the Lord determines our steps."

In his book, Pastor Warren states that it is only in God that we discover our origin, our identity, our meaning, our purpose, our significance, and our destiny.
