May All Your Wishes Come True

by Tiffany
(Somewhere )

Birthday day: December 28th 1993

I was a special baby. I was 3 months early. I was what most people call a "preemie". I weighed only 3 pounds. I had an older brother named Shane. I do not remember him much because he died when I was four years old. He was also a preemie. My parents tell me I remind them so much of my brother and I'm happy for that. The doctors told my parents I would be special. They said I would be slower, wouldn't talk well, and not too smart. 15 years later I'm a sophomore, maintaining a 3.2 gpa and taking leadership and other classes while being a class officer. My point is, just because someone may say something about you doesn't make it true. You're the one who determines who you are - no one else - who can push yourself the extra mile and all the time. On my birthday I make a wish.. for nothing. I know if it is really meant to be then it will happen. It will be destiny. That is my birthday story (:

Nice uplifting story, Tiffany. I like your great attitude toward life.

The bible message for December 28th is taken from Hebrews 12:28 and it reads...

"Since we are receiving a Kingdom that cannot be destroyed, let us be thankful and please God by worshiping Him with holy fear and awe."
