A Bible Scripture Search About Life Burdens Can Reveal Encouraging Bible Verses To Help Ease The Pain Of Troubling Times
A Bible scripture search for various life burdens will reveal how encouraging Bible verses can help ease the pain of troubling times.
QUIET TIME WITH GOD A Bible scripture search for Lamentations 3:28-29 reveals, "Let them sit alone in silence beneath the Lord's demands. Let them lie face down in the dust; then at last there is hope for them." Waiting to be helped by God is probably the best habit that you can develop. It's the best solution to anxiety and stress. It's a discipline that we must all learn or stress will take hold and become a permanent part of our lives.Waiting on God means that we take the time to sit and be quiet. In our hectic culture this will probably take a lifestyle adjustment but nothing could be more helpful. For just a few moments, take the time to be still and sit in silence--no reading, praying, or anything that may cause distraction. Take a few deep breaths and say, God, I'm going to be patient and wait for you." It's astounding what relaxing effect this will have on the body. A Bible scripture search for Isaiah 40:31 reveals, "But those who wait on the Lord will find new strength. They will fly high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint." God wants us all to talk to Him. If you're wondering why you don't hear from Jesus, it's because you aren't allowing any time out of a busy schedule for Jesus. If you want to hear from our Father, spend time in silence. Get rid of all distractions for just a few minutes. Pray to God and let Him know you're waiting to hear from Him. Listen and be still. A Bible scripture search for Matthew 6:6-7 reveals, "But when you pray, go away by yourself, shut the door behind you, and pray to your Father secretly. Then your Father who knows all secrets, will reward you." A Bible scripture search for Lamentations 3:25-26 reveals, "The Lord is wonderfully good to those who wait for Him and seek Him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the Lord." Your world didn't fall apart immediately and the same is true for putting things back together. Wait patiently for God because His timing is perfect for you.
ENCOURAGEMENT We live in a tough, demoralizing, and discouraging world. But despite this bad news, there is hope and encouragement for all of us. God loves us so much that He sent His own Son, Our Savior, to rescue us. There is not one human who is without sin. And, as a result, sin is what makes life so hard. There are two key solutions to remember during times of trouble. First, accept Jesus as our Savior. Do life problems have you hopeless? Do you think you need to go it alone to solve your burdens? Absolutely not! In a Bible scripture search for John 16:33, Jesus says, "I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world." We're assured of trouble, but we have a 100% help and guidance guarantee. Jesus understands that we can't solve life's problems on our own. He fills the void in our lives and conquers hopelessness. Secondly, follow Christ's guiding light during times of darkness. A Bible scripture search for John 8:12 reveals, "Jesus said to the people, "I am the light of the world. If you follow Me, you won't be stumbling through the darkness, because you will have the light that leads to life." It's pretty simple. Jesus is the only solution in our world that continues to get darker. Here's prayer to say daily: Lord, I want you to know that I'm sorry for my sins. I need and want you as my Savior. I know that I can't solve life's burdens on my own. They are too overwhelming. Show me Your way and guide me by Your light out of my darkness (whether it happens to be in relationships, finances, career, health, or in other areas of life). Help me to trust in You and in the direction You have planned for my life. In Your Mighty Name, I pray."
FINANCES AND CAREERS We're witnessing global economies, including the United States, being unraveled. The reason? God's financial principles are being ignored. The principles of accounting, sound record keeping, investing, spending and saving money, living simply or within our means, and giving are all found in the Bible. God states that if we follow His guidelines, He will bless us with prosperity and abundance. He doesn't say that everyone will become a millionaire, but He does say that He will provide everything we need if we follow His words. A Bible scripture search for Ecclesiastes 5:13-14 reveals, "There is another serious problem I have seen in the world. Riches are sometimes hoarded to the harm of the saver, or they are put into risky investments that turn sour, and everything is lost. In the end, there is nothing left to pass onto one's children." These comments from Solomon in his time are just as valid today because of the sinful world we live in. He realized that satisfaction doesn't come from working hard with the end result of making tons of money or to achieve great prominence. The following statement rings so true, "I climbed the ladder of success but when I reached the top, it was leaning against the wrong wall with much wasted effort." Sin is also responsible for the empty meaning, and lack of fulfillment and purpose in a job and in what God had designed you to do. Not being responsible with the money or the talents God has given to each of us can produce financial difficulties or career frustration. Spend some serious time assessing your situation. If you want certain areas in your personal life to improve, pray to our Lord God and ask Him to reveal the things He wants you to see. Perform a Bible scripture search for any life topic and carefully read what it has to say.
STRENGTH A Bible scripture search for Philippians 4: 13 reveals, "I can do everything with the help of Christ who gives me the strength I need." God delivers His power directly into our lives, giving us the strength to carry out His plan for our lives. Faith and trust is acting with confidence knowing that our Father's power is alive and works through our lives. Faith is trusting that the strength we need to do anything comes from God. He doesn't ask us to live our lives by way of our own power and strength. That would limit what we could accomplish. The strength we receive from God is unlimited. From a comment like, "There is something that I would like to do for Jesus but I really don't think that I can pull it off," our Father may say, "Excellent! You realize that you can't accomplish it by yourself, but with My guidance and strength working in you, anything I ask you to do can be done." Saying "I can't" and never progressing to "God can" is like having a high-performance sports car parked in your garage and never testing it's maximum speed because you're sure that it can only reach 20 miles per hour. God is calling you to the high-performance race track of life to do great things. A Bible scripture search for Philippians 2:13 reveals, "For God is working in you, giving you the desire to obey Him and the power to do what pleases Him."
REJECTION Everyone at one time or another has experienced the painful feelings of rejection. Maybe you were rejected by your mother or father. Or possibly, you've been rejected by a close friend. You may have been rejected by other students in school. However, the one person who will never reject you is Jesus. A Bible scripture search for Romans 8:38-39 reveals, "And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from His love. Death can't, and life can't. The angels can't, and the demons can't. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, and even the powers of hell can't keep God's love away. Whether we are high above the sky or in the deepest ocean, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord." Rejection can make you feel insecure. And insecurity can cause you to do stupid things. When you experience insecurity and you attempt to appear confident, you may say or do things that are inappropriate.
Anyone who accepts Jesus has no reason to feel insecure. God never stops loving us and He'll never ever reject you. You might experience the loss of things in our physical world, but you'll never have to worry about losing the salvation that God has given each of us.
